    and the child seemed to be losing her health, taking no food and becoming very run down. The child's parents became alarmed at her condition and made inquiries at the school wehre they were informed about the child's absence for some time. They questioned the girl and she gave them a hazy account of her adventures. The local parish priest was informed of the occurence and he interviewed the child. He blessed her and gave her instructions to take a small bottle of Holy Water with her when going to school in future.
    On the first morning as she passed the fort the old woman appeared grinning at her, and never afterwards interfered with her. This occurence took place in Dromtariffe about a century ago. Her parish priest in Dromtariffe at the time was Father Quilter.
