    Hallow e'en was always a time of great feasting. Some time before it all the apples and nuts are picked as the people think the fairies would steal them if they were left on the trees. On that night a candle is lit in the window. Some people put out bread for the Holy Souls on that night. Many games are played on that night. A Barm Brack is usually eaten at supper.
