  1. The name of my home district is "Gothknockanroe". It is a townland situated about two miles from Kanturk in the barony of Duhallow in the county of Cork. There are four families in this townland. The approximate number of people is thirty. The houses are two-storied and slated. There are no very old people in this townland. Long ago houses were far more numerous locally, but there are not many
