    Her skin more white than snow at night her equals are but few,
    With a killing dart she pierced my heart down by the river shoe.

    Her beautiful neck without a speck no swan was eer so white,
    Her waist was thin, she had a handsome chin, her eyes like diamonds bright,
    Her golden hair in ringlets rare, and to her I did prove true,
    So I gave consent my life to spend with her beside the shoe.
