    nephew who went under the pretence of being a nerve doctor. His name was Desmond. The house he used to resort was James Healy's Knocknagree. He happened one night to meet Patsie Cronin of Scrahan. He had plenty money to spend with Patsie.
    Patsie led him to believe that there was a house with two sick people in it and he was sure of a pound. His heart leaped with joy. Patsie led him up to Thady Hickey's house of Scrahan. While the nerve doctor was knocking at the front door, Patsie stole around to the back and flung a rock with full force at the door. Thady jumped out of bed and he caught the nerve doctor and kicked him to the gate in his night dress. Patsie threw a bucket of water at Thady and he beat the nerve doctor down to James Healy's
