    St Patrick's and St Brigid's crosses are made in this district. St Brigid's cross is made with two sticks made like a cross and straw plated around it. They are made by the children and then they are sprinkled with holy water they are put outside the window St Brigid's night. St Patrick's cross is made with two sticks and silk and are worn by the women on St Patrick's day.
