    The Townlands of the above are
    Clonbanin - Cluainbáinin - The old people call it The field of the Daisies
    Coolclougher. Cúlcluthmhor. It is a townland sheltered from the north and west by hilly ground. An old man Daniel OKeeffe of Coolclougher said it used be called "Snugboro"
    Clenrath. This is in a plain and has no connection with a "glen"
    Derinagree - Doire na groidhe paerhaps Doire na girrfiadh or Doire na gcrodhe
    Drominagh - Drommíneac not far away is the townland of Dromeach
    Gurrane - Gurrán
    Island-dahill. perhaps Oileán na choill
    It is described in the settlements after Cromwell as Island Dorcall perhaps like Knockcahill not far distant it may be Oilean dá eocaill
    In Knockcahill Bog Yew trunks were found.
    Keale - a long narrow townland Caol
