There were two landlords in some townlands and each landlord ruled over four tenants.
The tithes were collected in this district in former times. The tenants used give one tenth of every crop they produced each year to the landlord and if not they would be evicted. Th tithes were collected both in money and in kind. - In this district "Travelling" people still call around but they are not as numerous as they were before. These people have been travelling for many years.
