“There are two spring wells near Glanworth...”
There are two spring wells near Glanworth, one of the springs is called Cronee. A little obelisk was erected near the well by a man named Sheehan. There were three oak trees growing in the market square at Glanworth. They were held in great veneration. They are not gone. I have often heard the old people talk of Curballa Bush and the three trees of Glanworth. I think it was a sort of slogan used in a faction fight.- Collector
