    Willie Fouhy,
    John Sherlock,
    James Sullivan.
    Willie Fouhy lived in Dunmahon, Glanworth. He was born about the year 1855. He emigrated to New Zealand early in life and died there about the year 1930. He composed several songs including the following:-
    "The Master and Tom Lane."

    Lane Courtney taught his school,
    Where students from the country side,
    Progressed beneath his rule.

    Big boys and girls came by day,
    Young teachers stole by night
    And many a stray poor scholar too,
    Like flies around the light.
