a little house in which the pipers lived.
My Grandfather told me that this fair was held about the 15th of August and everyone looked forward to it because it was the best fair of the year.
Every man would have a blackthorn stick and before the fair was finished there were many rows and they used the blackthorns freely.
The mortar that built it is said to be mixed with the bullock blood and my Grandfather told me that is the reason it is holding so long.
At the Piper's Cross there was a hedge school. The teacher's name was Pugadi
One of the pipers was blind.
