- Seómra Nóra - Norah's room.Seómra Nóra is a cave that is situated on the boundary between Limerick and Cork. This rock is made up of a cairn of stones, and it is built in the shape of a room.Cairrigin na mbróinte is a hill that is situated in the townland of Ballynoulty. In former years there lived on this hill an old woman. It is said that she had a sister who lived at a place called Leaba-Ceallaige. This Nora was supposed to have killed her husband by flinging a big stone after him, and as he was crossing the river Funcheon the stone fell on him and killed him.The stone is yet to be seen at Leaba-Callaige. It is also said that she used to reach the pipe to her sister in Carrigin(continues on next page)
