- (continued from previous page)Mr Murphy went home. As he was going home he noticed a young man sitting on one of the seats. Mr Murphy asked the young man what was his name. The young man said nothing. After a while the horse stopped. The driver knew that some thing happened the horse.
The driver went into the house near by, as all drivers know every house and turn of the road. The man of the house gave him a dose for the horse, he also told him to let the horse rest for a few hours.
About two o'clock the man set out for home. When he arrived he unharnessed his horse and he gave him hay. Then he went to bed. When he got up next morning, his hand was all black. He saw the print of six teeth in the palm of his hand. He was in bed for six months. He never went out any time during the night.
Sometime afterwards Mr Murphy's wife was playing cards at an other house. It was very late that night when they stopped playing cards, because she was winning alot of money. She had to pass a fort on her way home. When she came near(continues on next page)- Collector
