    was not getting better, her parents determined to try the afore mentioned cure, so they lit a fire over which they placed the girl. She was very badly burned and died. The father and mother were tried and found guilty of murder. After this the people of that neighbourhood lost their superstitions. This story was related to me by a companion (Lizzie O Grady) who heard it from her mother.
