    To make the Garsún a súgán is first twisted, then a bundle of straw is drawn, and a small bundle is made of it. The súgán is twisted about this until it is about 1' in length.

    The loose straw is cut across above and below. This is the holder "used for the "scollops", used in thatching. It is known as-Garsún.

    Scolop.} = a spar used in thatching, when twisted to form a loop it is called a sárceán.
