  1. The games I play are as follows:- Hurling, Football, Pitch and toss, nut-cracking, Kick the Can and Duck. In Pitch and toss we put a stone about three yards from where the players stand to pitch the coins. This stone is known as the "Jack". Then the first player pitches two pennies, usually, and so on till all the players have pitched. The player with the penny nearest to the "Jack" tosses all the coins first and if he "heads" them he wins but if he "hearts" them he loses all. Then the player who was second to the "Jack" starts and does the same thing
