    On Little Christmas night people do not like to be out too late, as there is an old story told of two girls who were in service in a farmers house remained up to drink enough of wine and to see it change, but they were never seen or heard of after.
    This Mrs OLeary a native of Ovens
    Co. Cork. whose name appears frequently in this book is a farm labourer's wife and is really the only woman in the School Area with any folklore worth narrating.
