  1. Traveling folk visit most houses. They sell small articles and the people buy them. In the local towns they buy them. They are welcome to houses. Sometimes they would stay for a night and sometimes they would not. They would make their beds near the fire with straw or they would sleep in a settle. They would get the food as they go along. They travel on foot and their backs. They used travel in twos and threes
