    Ballymore:-
    It got its name because it was the biggest village in the island.
    Cáit de Búrcas Hill:-
    This hill goes from Cuskinny to Collin's's Cross. It got its name because a woman by the name of Kate Bourke was living in the middle of it.
    Ballybrassil:-
    Ballybrassil got its name because a man by the name of Brassil lived there.
    Marlogue: -
    Marlogue means big bend as the Lee at that portion almost turns at right angles towards the East Ferry.
    Carraigín a bhFiadhach:-
    Is a rock placed in a bay Bátabhota at the eastern side of Cuskinny. (bádh dóigte, bay of the burning).
    Luscins:-
    Is a name applied to a rightaway passage, between Ballybrassil and Glen near the seashore.
