    Cribs:- a crib is a wooden cage made of laths of wood used for catching birds. The crib is stood on one end and balanced on a "Gabhlóg" which is released by a twig standing on a bough.
    Tops:- Long ago the children made their own tops out of reels and screws. They drove a screw into a hole in the reel and they made it spin with a whip of thong.
