    Roan Og's well or Eoin Og's well or St John's well is in Ballea a quarter of a mile outside Carrigaline.

    Crutches are often thrown away by people at the well. There is a little fish in the well and whoever sees the fish expects to be cured. When people are leaving after the rounds they take a bottle of the water with them. They drink some of it and wash sores with the remainder or it.
