    When I was a little girl my mother told me the following story...

    before long your mansion will only be fit to house the crows and jackdaws. But no crow or jackdaw will build there. Three weeks after the house and it's contents were burned to the ground, and from that day forward the silence that reigned over this beautiful demesne was never broken by the caw of crow or rook. The family name was O'Connor.
