    Sore throat – Put your left stocking round your throat going to bed at night and leave it round it till morning. Wash your mouth with cold water every morning before you go out and you will never get a sore throat.
    Chillblains – Wash them in pickle.
    Rub parrafin oil to them.
    Rub goose grease to the chilblains and it will cure them very quickly.
