    This road is very seldom used except by the farmers and other people who live on it. They use it as a shortcut to Cloyne or Ladysbridge.
    This road is very old, it was made hundreds and hundreds of years ago.
    There roads were not made as relief work to the poor people during the famine, but on the Castlemartyr Road, there is a bridge called the Womana Bridge, which was deepened during the famine to give employment to people suffering during the famine.
