    A. Because he shrinks from washing.
    Q. When is a wall like a fish?
    A. When it is scaled.
    Q. Why is a freshly baked cake like the sun?
    A. Because it is light when it rises.
    Q. A slipper of ditches, a leaper of thorns, a wee brown cow with a pair of leather horns?
    A. A hare.
