    namely, Mr. T. Lawton. There are two doors in the forge, a big one at the back and a small one in front. The forge was formally owned by Mr Carey who rented it Mr Murnane
    When a farmer comes to the forge to get anything done he usually takes the smith into a public house to treat him. The forge is situated at the end of the town on the side of the main Cork-Youghal road. It is said that that Mr Lawton can never tell the truth when asked a question.
