- Devins Foley of Killeagh was coming from Mogeely to Killeagh and when he was half ways he saw something up on a ditch. After a few seconds he though that it was the devil. He was so frightened that he stayed there all night. When he looked again on the morning he saw that it was a goat.
Pettycoat Loose was a Ghost who used live half ways between Inch and Killeagh. One night when a man was coming from Inch to Killeagh with a pony and trap, the pony stopped on the road and would not stir. He stayed there all night but when morning came she went away. Any person by the name of John that she used meet she would take the pants off him and beat him with his braces. She would not do anything to you if you had a light.- Collector
