    He must catch it with his mouth without touching his hands to it. Another custom is that of roasting nuts on that night.
    It is carried out by the older people while the young ones are playing snap-apple as it is called. They complete the evening by eating the barm-brack which contains a ring, rag, pea, bean, and a stick.
