    And foot the old gad fly
    He has a fine broad stable
    And high it is his roof
    He can walk within the shady grove
    To put a fine shell on his hoof

    He was boarding all last Summer
    In Florrie Donovan's old [?]
    His eyes were fairly dazzled
    Looking at fields so green
    And then he would see brave Florrie coming
    With a whip all in his hand
    Saying "get up you lazy Bandon horse
    And we will fetch a butt of sand.

    His sides were bare all from the chains
    For he would never let him walk
    And he would always shake his head
    Like he was going to talk.
    Now he is living happy.
