- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)land. There are two grocer shops convenient to the people in Kilbradren, and also a carpenter's shop there. There is one remarkable story relating to Kilbradren church yard. It is a fact that when one person is buried there others follow.
Kilbradren hill, which is right opposite the church yard rises to a height of about one hundred and fifty feet, and it affords a splendid view of the Shannon, six miles distant, and also of the surrounding parishes and villages of Shanagolden on the west and the town of Rathkeale on the east. On a very clear day the spire of St. Mary's church in Limerick can be seen.
It is said that there is an underground passage between this hill and Ballyegna castle, half mile distant. On top of the hill there are two ramparts, one being very high and the other(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
