    When it is going to rain.
    Ants are particularly active, and there is a great bustle in and about their nest.
    Bones which have been broken and reunited ache a deal at the point where the fracture was.
    Asses are heard braying more than usual.
    Cocks flap their wings and hens appear restless and uneasy.
    The moon. A halo round it.
    Dogs and cats get sleepy and dull, and lie drowsily before the fire.
    Ducks and geese quack more often and more loudly than usual.
    Feathers and any leaves blow in eddies streams and ponds.
    Fishes gambol near the surface of the water and anglers find they take the bait more readily.
