- Folklore - A StoryOne day a man went into Glin. He met with a shopkeeper that he owed a sum of money to and the shopkeeper said to him to pay him what was coming to him. All right said the man go in and mark it paid in your book. The shopkeeper did as he was told. The man said that he should go down the street to pay another man to whom he owed a sum of money. An hour later the man came back again and he met the shopkeeper standing in his own door and the man said to him have you the bill marked paid? I have said the shopkeeper very well said the man thank you very much it was a long time due and it is time for it to be marked paid and walked off.Written by Nora O'Connell
