    with her father and mother. Then the husband used go for her with his horse and haul her home with him on the back of the saddle.
    There were many customs observed on the wedding day also, and the following are some of them. At the breakfast a vase of flowers were brought in and put on the table as a decoration. Before the breakfast the men and women used hit their glasses together for luck. The dresses worn long ago used be long and wide also they used wear hoop in their dresses to make them wide. The man driving the couple used wear a Caroline hat. Marriages took place in the houses about seventy years ago
