I answer his sweet whisper. Come and rest awhile with me.

Prayer To Angel Guardian On Retiring.
    Good night Angel guardian.
The day is passed and gone for good or ill.
Its story has been written down for me, but now through God's kind providence, thou image pure and bright.
Oh guard me while I'm sleeping.
    My Angel dear, good night.

    Another Version.
Good night my good Angel guardian.
I thank thee for thy protection during this day.
Guard me also during this night , and preserve me from all sin and danger.
O Mary be near me, when Jesus comes to judge me.
