“Two fields to the east of my house there is an old fort.”
My father told me this old story. Two fields to the east of my house there is an old fort. It is said that there was a man out walking one night, he had a great hump on his shoulders. He came up to the fort and he heard the fairies singing.
It is said the man began to sing too. The fairies heard the singing and were greatly frightened. So they began their song again and again they heard the man singing outside the fort. They thought that he was a great singer. This time they went out and began searching for the singer. After searching for a very long time they got the little man.(continues on next page)- Collector
