(continued from previous page)Name is the Laca and that name was given because a great number of ducks and geese were in it long ago. There is another in the farm and it's name is the Gripe and that name was given because there is an old watercourse running through the middle of it. And there is another field in the farm and its's name is the acra field and that name was given because it's area is one acre. There is another field in the farm and it's name is the Tuig-yard and that name was given because a great lot of twigs and other sticks were in it long ago. There is another field in the farm and its name is the lime-kiln field and that name was given because there is a lime-kiln standing in the middle of it. And there is another field and its name is the Castle field because a castle is built there. there is another field and it's name is the Coill-óg and that name was given which means the young wood. And there is another field also and it's name is the clover field and it is said that name was given because it is covered with clover and other wild flowers also.- Collector
