- (continued from previous page)There is a ruined church in the village known as the church of St. Munchin. It is abandoned for the past twelve years. It was never plundered or burned. There are no carvings or inscribed, or ornamented stones in the district, but it is said that priests are buried within the church.
Although the local castles are now in a ruin it cannot be said that their gallant defenders were in fault. time has stilled their hearts, but their deeds of daring will be always on history's pages.- Collector
