- Once upon a time there lived a gentleman in west Limerick. He owned a big place there was a big hill in the farm, and on top of it was a big fort, he kept a great deal of horses, and among these horses was a race horse, the name was Princess May. One day the owner had her running in Limerick. Two boys were standing about a hundred yards away from the fort. They could hear "two to one bar one" and after a while news went around that "Princess May" had dropped dead while running in the race.
