- It is said that there is gold hidden in Jim Carroll's fort Lisduane Granagh. One night a man dreamt about it. He got up and he went out to his neighbours house and asked to go and search for the gold. Two men went with him. They carried a March cock with them. They were digging away until they heard a bull roaring. One of them got a stroke on the back and he died a few days after. The name of the man who died was James Fitz-Gibbon. They did not take the gold with them.
