  1. Fairy Stories:-
One night a man named Mick Cullinane was going towards the west from Lee's cross Ballingarry. When he reached Byrnes' gate he heard music playing and he stood on the road listening to it. After a while he saw a number of people dancing on the road. The man was greatly frightened. He turned in across the ditch and crossed a stream. Just ask did he saw a big black dog at his heels. The man blessed himself and the black dog disappeared and was never seen again. it is said that the black dog was Mr Cox of Ballynoe Ballingarry who was dead for some time The man that saw the black dog died a week or two after.
