    Our home looks out

    (continued from previous page)
This song was composed between the districts of Ballinacarriga and Pallaskenry about a cow by a man named Michael Herr.
Up in Pallaskenry a man sure he lived there.
He had a wicked cow which he took to many a fair.
She had so many (a) bad faults he couldnt her guarantee.
So he brought her home again and a sorry man was he.
She was neck bound, hock bound
With a board across her eyes.
She was head bound, leg bound, till she could hardly rise.
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
