The daily course of duty run
Shake off dull sloth and early rise to pay the morning sacrifice.

Redeem thy misspent moments past
And live this day as if thy last
Thy talents to improve take care,
And for the great day thyself prepare
III
Awake and lift up thyself my heart and with
the Angels bear thy part
Who all night long unceasing sing
Glory to the Heavenly King. The following prayer must be recited before Mass.
I
As I approach this holy Altar
I give my heart to the Son and Father
Praying to the Lamb of God
Who was crowned with Thorns,
To grant me the beneft of this day's Mass and Holy WaterThis prayer may be said at all times during the day
