    Awake my soul and with the sun
    The daily course of duty run
    Shake off dull sloth and early rise to pay the morning sacrifice.
    II
    Redeem thy misspent moments past
    And live this day as if thy last
    Thy talents to improve take care,
    And for the great day thyself prepare
    III
    Awake and lift up thyself my heart and with
    the Angels bear thy part
    Who all night long unceasing sing
    Glory to the Heavenly King.
    The following prayer must be recited before Mass.
    I
    As I approach this holy Altar
    I give my heart to the Son and Father
    Praying to the Lamb of God
    Who was crowned with Thorns,
    To grant me the beneft of this day's Mass and Holy Water
    This prayer may be said at all times during the day
