    Glenbrohane is a place where there's pleasure and joy.
    Beneath the tall mountain in a valley
    it lie:
    Where the fairest of maidens are charming
    to win:
    But there's none can compare with young
    Anne of the Glen.

    Last Saturday night as I chanced for
    to roll
    To sweet Glenbrohane I went for a stroll.
    As I passed by O'Donovan's I made a tour in,
    And I spent my time chatting with
    Anne of the Glen.
    III
    Young Anne she's as fair as e'er can
    be found.
    Tho the fairest of maidens there do abound
    Like the hare in the mountain and the fox
    in his den:
    But as pure as the fountain is young
    Anne of the Glen
