    had a stone from St Bernard's Well in the breast pocket of his coat and he was fired at several times but the bullets skated off the stone and he was saved.
    The water from the well is a cure for headaches and sore hands. The water turned into wine on two occasions.

  2. The Blessed Stone is a stone that stands on the lower (southern) side of Gurtavoher road (Aherlow). It is there about one hundred years. There is a tradition that this stone was removed to make a fence and that next morning it had removed back again.
