  1. There is a hidden treasure near Anglesboro in John Ryan's liss. Several attempts have been made to unearth it but all failed. There are steps leading to the place where it is hidden. One night a crowd of men got together and they went digging got the treasure no sooner had they done so than they heard a loud cry like that of a bull and they fled from the place. Lights have often been seen where the treasure is hidden. It is supposed to be guarded by a bull.
