Water after washing feet used to be thrown out at the right side of door.
Boots are made and repaired locally. There is only one shoemaker in the district. Many shoemakers made their living there long ago but now people wear ready made boots because in the first place the feet are not hardy enough to bear the strong leather and again the factory made shoes are considered more galánta.
Bogs were worn very much in former times and they are worn now in remote districts. Girls in our school wear them in Winter.
