Tell me, tell me, tyrant Tuttle Did you hear of all the joy...

    (continued from previous page)
    IV
    'Twas little foxy Paddy
    Thought of running the blockade.
    By displaying misleading colours
    Underneath the green cockade.
    Till o'er the shining river
    A youny eagle glided by
And she fixed her noble talons
On the head of "fox" Molloy.
    V
    Hurrah intrepid Mollie
    May your courage never fail
Whilst we need a brave defender
    And the rights of Innisfail.
    May success reward your efforts
Till you win your won aroon,
And we'll crown your brow with laurels

  2. Composed by Owen Bresnan Loughgair. Molloy was a contractor delivering an Emergency-man's hut to the lands of Mary-Ann Bresnan (Mollie in poem). Herbertstown.
He was trying to travel in disguise having condensed milk written on the sides of his vans or carts.
Tuttle was the local land agent. The emergency huts were intercepted in Cahercorney and were burned by a number of local young men. Miss Bresnan took an active part.
