    a small family but they were very poor. Several times her husband inticed her to send the children for soup but it was all in vain she never consented to let them go. So the Lord rewarded her for her bravery. One day when she was going to the well she found a half crown she brought it home and bought flake-meal for the children; she was never poor again.
