  1. 1. The rock of Knochcouragh is situated one mile from Doon village. It consists of one big rock. On one side of this rock there is a small split, and on looking through you will see a room with two pillars. There is a mud floor and it is cleaned and swept. The person who looks through it thinks he feels the two pillars going through each side of his head.
    2. A place which is now called Castle-Town it is situated near Doon. It is a very noted place. It was called in the olden times Coonagh's Castle and it was built Mr Brian Coonagh. About one hundred yards from the castle there is another old ruin which was once a Chapel the remains of it are still to be seen, afterwards it became a grave yard and the head-stones are still to be seen. Inside the chapel there are holes around the walls in these holes the statues were placed. In the
