   The following are given by Mrs Ahern, Foilaclera, Doon, Co. Limerick. Prayer to be said when a person is in bed. As I lie down on my right side, I pray to God to be my guide. If I die before I wake, to God I give my soul to take, God within me, God without me. God Almighty be about me, There are four corners on my bed, There are four Angels on it spread, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, God bless this bed that I lie on.

   God bless Good Friday, Good Friday, The dau on which Our Blessed Saviour was Crucified,
   The Crown of Thorns on His head
   His Blessed Mother Standing by,
   With a heavy heart and a dismal cry, She crying out whoever will this prayer Three times by day, three times by night Never shall enter the gate of Hell.
